Holiday Programme
Overview of our 3-day holiday programme:
On the first day, students will present a brief introductory talk about themselves. The audience will be encouraged to ask questions, and the speaker will be guided on how to best elaborate. They will then learn about the vocal techniques and body language essential in a strong delivery. Thereafter, students will be engaged in a class discussion to brainstorm for topic ideas. Once every student has decided on their topics, they will begin the writing process, during which they will learn how to structure their points, and how to put their thoughts across clearly.
On the second day, students will have their talks finalised, and learn about the implementation of visuals and props, and creating effective prompts. After which, some time will be spent presenting their talks, with emphasis on applying the skills they have learnt.
On the last day, students will rehearse their talks and learn how to handle a live audience. They will also learn how to best answer and elaborate on any questions the audience might have. Parents will be invited to watch the final performance of the students' works and are encouraged to participate in discussions.
